Upon the fantastic suggestion of PickledBeets, I bought these at lunch:


Heavy Duty Timer - $14.99 + tax
Hydrometer/Thermometer - $8.99 + tax

(Hydrometer was suggested months ago by Michael of Twig Farm.)
